10 years of supporting the Shoebox fundraising initiative

One of Hungary’s most successful fundraising initiatives is the Baptist Relief Service’s “Shoebox Actions”. In December 2021, despite the difficulties caused by the epidemic, many people stepped up to help, and 50,930 gifts were finally donated to children in need. The team at PS Hungary is also delighted to help ensure that as many children in need as possible receive a Christmas surprise package. This is our 10th year of active involvement in the initiative.

This year a lot of people unfortunately will not be able to spend Christmas with their loved ones. This special time which usually brings the feeling of togetherness and family warmth might be especially difficult for elderly people. The PS team wished to make the holidays a little bit more enjoyable for those in need.

Most young workers would work in a socially responsible workplace

For employees aged 18-25, their workplace needs to stand up for the issues that matter to them, according to a survey by Process Solutions accounting and payroll service provider. The most important topics for them are helping the sick, the homeless and the hungry, protecting the environment and protecting animals.

For the second time PS Poland team took part in the annual BSC Beach Volleyball Tournament which encompassed 10 teams from SSC, BPO, and ITO sectors in Warsaw. All employees of Business Services competed not only for the coveted trophies, but also for donations for each teams’ charity of choice.

Join us and let us help together

We have not lost our initial enthusiasm! PS Team held another volunteering day in January! We focused on cooking for the homeless and help disadvantaged children. Our team made sandwiches and hot meals and last but not least we painted the halls of a school and made them colorful, with the help of 60 volunteering colleagues.

Christmas Time 2018 – PS Volunteering Day

At PS we strive to organize more and more charity events and our colleagues are enthusiastically participating in them. In December 2018 we had our first Volunteering Day. We wrapped presents and raised a record amount of donations from our 6th Charity Cookie Sale to help children in need.

PS includes many nature-loving people who regularly ride bike and hike. Already in the past we often shared with each other the good hiking sites which are worth to visit.

We have renewed! PS office is fresher and more youngish!

During the summer Process Solutions changed its identity and renewed its office to make it more colourful. The idea came from the staff, the task was carried out by a professional agency.

The revenues generated with the PS charity cookie sales was brought in conjunction with United Way Hungary to needy young children in the Óbuda Foundation for Handicapped Children.
